In 2014, I became a name partner at an interdisciplinary firm in the Outaouais region, where I consolidated and more than doubled the business law department in two years. A great chapter, but one that confirmed what I already knew: I wanted to work differently.

In 2018, I founded Harvey Business Law. With 30 years of experience and more than 8,500 projects completed, I know that the best business law is built on proximity, not hierarchy. I am a member of both the Quebec Bar and the Ontario Bar, and I work with clients mainly in French and in English.

I'm also the co-founder of Les Capteurs, a French podcast about entrepreneurship, mindset and productivity for people who love building things.

Before focusing on business law, I worked in humanitarian law. I was part of a team that trained Canadian peacekeepers and international workers on the laws of armed conflict. A chapter of my life I will never forget.

I've lived in Morocco, Switzerland, Montreal and Quebec City before making the Ottawa-Gatineau region, Canada's National Capital, my home.

During Covid, I completed a coaching certification. Not to change careers, but to be better at mine. Understanding how people think, what drives them or holds them back, what they haven't quite put into words yet: that changes everything in a legal consultation. Today, I get to the real problem faster.

I am an avid reader with a vast range of interests : entrepreneurship, neuroscience, psychology, productivity, geopolitics. And I am known for my loud laugh. My clients can confirm it.

I studied law at the Université de Montréal and was called to the Quebec Bar in 1995. What followed was thirty years of business law, a genuine passion for entrepreneurship and the privilege of working alongside people who make things happen.

I started my career at a firm in the Outaouais region, trained by a rigorous business lawyer who later joined the bench. Early on, I built ways of working that let me deliver complex mandates faster than my clients expected.

In 2010, that reputation brought me to the commercial law team of a well-known Quebec notarial firm, where I built a close working relationship with notaries. That collaboration and perspective remain a real strategic advantage for my clients today.
